Sweat Free Clinic is a specialist supervised team consisting of Dermatologists, Vascular Surgeons, Specialist Nurses, and Dieticians. Dr Shobhan Manoharan

Dr Manoharan completed his medical degree  at the University of Queensland.  He subsequently undertook specialist training in dermatology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Queensland Institute of Dermatology and in the United Kingdom. Further laser training was obtained both in Australia and the United States.

Dr Manoharan has published extensively in international peer-reviewed dermatology journals, holds a visiting consultant position at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and is a senior clinical lecturer with the University of Queensland.

Dr Manoharan first started treating hyperhidrosis with sweat stopping treatments at the Royal Military Hospital Haslar in the United Kingdom.  He is an expert in the management of all forms of hyperhidrosis, including palmar, plantar, facial and axillary hyperhidrosis, and is trained on the use of iontophoresis.  He is one of the most experienced and frequent sweat stopping treatments injectors for axillary hyperhidrosis in Queensland.

Dr Davin S. Lim

Dr Davin Lim graduated form the University of Queensland. Specialist training in Dermatology was undertaken in Sydney, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States. Dr Lim’s subspeciality interest and training is in laser and procedural dermatology, acne and acne scar revision and the management of hyperhidrosis. He sits on numerous International  Advisor Boards.

He has been performing hyperhidrosis treatments for the past 12 years and is one of the first doctors in Australia to use injectables for the management of underarm sweating. Dr Lim is also an Allergan Nationally appointed trainer for the use of sweat stopping treatments for underarms sweating.

Dr Philip Bekhor

A graduate of the University of Melbourne, Dr Bekhor is a Consultant Dermatologist at Laser Dermatology and Director Laser Unit, Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. Apart from a special interest in laser and cosmetic dermatology, Dr Bekhor is also a Moh’s skin cancer surgeon at the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria.

He has been performing hyperhidrosis treatments for the past 12 years and is one of the first doctors in Australia to use injectables for the management of underarm sweating. Dr Bekhor is also an Allergan Nationally appointed trainer for the use of sweat stopping treatments for underarm sweating.

Dr Robert Rosen

Consultant Dermatologist and Lieutenant Colonel to the Australian Defence Forces. Dr Rosen is a nationally accredited trainer of Hyperhidrosis with sweat stopping treatments and is the co-author of the sweat stopping treatments training manuals.

Dr Andrew Cartmill

Dr Andrew Cartmill completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in Brisbane graduating with Honours. Dr Cartmill also has a Bachelor of Science Degree, majoring in Physiology.He completed his residency and Basic Surgical Training in Brisbane mainly at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. His Advanced Surgical Training consisted of both general and vascular specialties where he trained in four large, tertiary hospitals in Queensland (Princess Alexandra Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital) and Victoria (The Alfred Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital). He has gained extensive expertise in minimally invasive endovascular surgery, as well as endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy for hyperhidrosis.

Dr Howard Studniberg

Dr Michelle Rodrigues

Dr Chris M Duguid

Chris Duguid is a senior specialist dermatologist who has trained in both Australia and Ireland. He is an associate professor at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. He is chief of surgery at the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria.

He is a Neurologist residing in Hobart Tasmania and is a Visiting Neurologist at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Dr Debo Gorai specializes in the treatment of all forms of hyperhidrosis including sweaty hands and feet, axillary or underarm sweating as well as craniofacial sweating.

He is a Allergan appointed National trainer for the use of sweat stopping treatments for severe underarm sweating, and currently is Tasmania’s only PBS and Medicare accredited injector.

Dr Tania Zappala

Dr Tania Zappala joins the Sweat Free Team at Westside Laser Dermatology. Tania studied undergraduate medicine at the University of New South Wales and completed herspecialist training in Brisbane and the United Kingdom. She is published in international dermatology journals. Dr Zappala's treats all forms of hyperhidrosis including hyperhidrosis in children, sweaty hands, feet, axillary HH and facial sweating.

Dr Natasha Cook

Dr Natasha Cook graduated with a bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery from the University of Sydney with honours. Dr Cook is a dermatologist and member of the Australian College of Dermatology as well as a certified member of the American Academy of Dermatolog. Dr Cook has extensive experience in the management of excessive sweating, including the use of sweat stopping treatments for axillary hyperhidrosis. She specialises in cosmetic and procedural dermatology and is member of the Allergan Advisory Board. Macquarie Street Dermatology specialises in all aspects of excessive sweating, including sweaty hands, feet, axillary and facial hyperhidrosis.

Dr Yu-Chuan Lee

Dr Yu-Chuan Lee is a senior dermatologist who trained in both London and Australia. She is a visiting Medical Specialist at the Queen Elizabeth hospital and has been a dermatologist for more than 10 years. 

She is a nationally accredited trainer for the use of sweat stopping treatments in the treatment of excessive sweating of the underarms and is an expert in the treatment of all forms of HH, including sweaty faces, hands and feet. Dr Alan Gallogly completed his medical degree at the Queens University of Belfast. He subsequently undertook training in Irish General practice before pursuing specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry in Melbourne.
Having worked in Irish General Practice he has first hand experience in working with individuals who have chronic skin complaints.

Dr Gallogly now has developed an interest in the psychological factors contributing to chronic skin diseases. Chronic skin disorders are known to interfere with psychological health causing issues such as lowered self esteem, anxiety, depression and can contribute to withdrawal from ones social circle.

He is experienced in both pharmacological and psychological interventions for psychological well-being.

Nigel Harris

​Nigel is an integral member of the Specialist Team at Sweat Free. He is Queensland’s first Specialist Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of clinic experience. He holds a Master of Nurse Practitioner Studies from the University of Queensland. He leads the iontophoresis unit at Sweat Free Clinic, and has over 15 years experience in this form of sweat reduction therapy. He is also trained in the use of iontophoresising Glycopyrrolate.

Emily Hyde

Dr Richard Patrick White

Richard White graduated with distinction in Medicine from Leed's University, UK in 1992. He worked as an MRC Research Fellow at the Royal postgraduate Medical School and Kings' College Hospital London. His higher specialist training in Neurology was completed on the North West London Neuroscience. He sees patients for general and specialist cerebrovascular neurological consultation at the North Queensland Neurology clinics, Mater hospital, Townsville including sweat stopping treatments for neurological indications, including excessive sweating.

Dr Adrian Lim

He is a Fellow of both the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the Australasian College of Phlebology. Dr Trish Lowe graduated in medicine with Honours from Sydney University in 1988 and spent her intern and residency years at Royal North Shore Hospital. A Masters of Medicine followed in 1994.  She has been a dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College since 1998. Private practice aside, Trish is a consultant dermatologist and staff specialist at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. She is the current Honorary Secretary of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and sits on the College Board of Directors.   Trish has also served as the NSW Director of Training for dermatologists and is an approved Medicare provider for axillary hyperhidrosis.

Dr Craig Costello

Dr Craig Costello graduated from Queensland University in 2003. He completed his basic physician training at The Townsville Hospital prior to his Neurology training in Melbourne 2009-2011 at the Royal Melbourne and Austin Hospitals. In 2011he completed a year of subspecialised training in therapeutic sweat stopping treatments use for facial spasms, neck dystonias, spasticity and chronic migraine as well as axillary hyperhydrosis. He is deputy chair of ANZAN regional neurology committee.

Mr Roger Bell

Roger Bell is a dedicated specialist Vascular surgeon, with over 20 years experience. He is a staff specialist at Monash Medical Centre, and actively participates in the teaching and development of trainee surgeons.

Roger has developed a particular interest in the management of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and facial blushing by endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy and has performed over 500 procedures with outstanding results over the past 15 years.

Dr Hugh Roberts

Dr Roberts completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Roberts is a consultant dermatologist at Monash Hospital and the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Victoria and has a private practice located in Frankston.

Dr Roberts has been managing hyperhidrosis in his patients for over a decade and has experience in the use of sweat stopping treatments, iontophoresis and various systemic therapies.

Dr Con Dolianitis

Dr Con Dolianitis studied Medicine at the University of Melbourne. Con later attained a Master of Medicine degree. His research focused on the early detection of melanoma. He is a consultant dermatologist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Dr Dolianitis has over ten years experience in the management of hyperhidrosis. He published on glycopyrrolate iontophoresis for treatment of palmoplantar hyperhidrosis in the Australasian Journal of Dermatology in 2004 after running an iontophoresis clinic for one year. Dr Dolianitis is experienced with the management of hyperhidrosis and has experience in the use of sweat stopping treatments for underarm sweating.

Libby McBride

Libby is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and graduated from Queensland University of Technology with honours. Over the past 6 years Libby has specialised in the area of weight management in a range of private practice settings in Australia and overseas at University College London Hospital.

In addition to weight management Libby regularly helps people with the following conditions: irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, diabetes, polycystic ovarian syndrome and cardiovascular disease. Libby uses scientific research as a background for all advice and can help with anything from general wellbeing to specific health conditions such as those listed above.
